Our latest creation.
So I have a lot of catching up to do, but let’s start with first things first. The reason for my prolonged hiatus is the birth of our first baby: Mabel Elise Molanphy. She has been with us now for about five weeks and we have yet to recover from the first week. So the way I figure is that by the time she’s 1 year old, we’ll finally figure out how to eat three meals a day again…maybe. Either way, she’s a cutie and we’re so excited to finally meet her! Some more photos here and here.
The photograph above (as well as the ones on the first link) was taken by our good friend (and co-worker) Bill Raab, and I must say - if you’re looking for photography services, give Bill a call. He’s not only the nicest guy you’ll ever meet, but he’s got talent coming out of his ears! His ability to capture intimate, unscripted moments is truly amazing. See his work at www.exposedtolight.com and hire him! NOW!

Looks like Adobe is getting ready to announce new integration of Microsoft’s Silverlight into their Flash player. Crazy!
Wonder where this one’s going to end up. :-/
[update]: Heh. Well, that was obviously my lame attempt at an April Fool’s joke. Ignore me.

Anyone who works with interactive media for a living knows that social communication platforms have been around for some time, but large companies (who have a tendency to move slowly but impact everything in their path) are just now learning to understand how to use these tools. What will this mean for social media? Well, we’re not quite sure yet, but there is one organization that aims to find out.
The good folks at Best Buy have agreed to host the Social Media Club (a newly formed national organization dedicated to everything related to social media) this Friday at 8am. In case this sounds interesting to you (and if you work in the field, it really should), Doug Pollei has posted more information on this event.

A quick post to announce my wife’s new online store – KitchenNut. Anyone who has had the good fortune of being around whenever she comes out of the kitchen with a new batch of cookies will be happy to know that this is the beginning of a series of new hand-crafted goodies. And although I am slightly biased, I must say that they are gooooood.
And on a more technical side, thanks to Luke and Brett at FoxyCart for making the e-commerce side of KitchenNut possible with an easy-to-use shopping cart solution. We’ll figure out a way to get some goodies your way.
So seriously folks, what are you waiting for? Get your goodies on!
Why are you still here? Go on now!
